New Short Story Up: Hamash

As I mentioned in some of the previous blog posts, I want this blog to be a place where I can post my writing. This will include short stories and poetry that I’ve written in the past few years, as well as some excerpts from my novels. This will give you the chance to see what kind of writer I am, and give me the chance to get some feedback on it.

So, as of this week, you can read Pilot Hamash and A.I. Kal, a story I wrote for a college class about three years ago. It follows a freelance pilot named Jenny Hamash as she and her A.I. assistant take on a seemingly routine job until… well, I’ll let you find out what happens.

There’s a lot of things that could be improved in it, but I won’t change anything outside of grammar mistakes and whatnot. I want it to remain as a snapshot of my writing from that time before I started writing Sylenah. Let me know what you think of it!

Thanks for reading!

Hey there! This is my 1st comment here so I just wanted to give a quick shout out and say I really enjoy reading your posts. Can you recommend any other blogs/websites/forums that cover the same topics? Thanks a lot!

Thank you! I’ve found that the Mythcreants blog (mythcreants.com) has a number of really great posts about the fundamentals of writing in sci fi and fantasy. For deeper exploration of writing, I highly recommend Brandon Sanderson and HelloFutureMe on YouTube.
